The Nurmahal police have arrested a thief for stealing cameras and video camera and other items
Station House Officer (SHO) Gurnam Singh said that the accused have been identified as Rahul Aujla son of Charanjit Singh a resident of Bhangala village.
Sarpanch of the same village Jagdeep Kumar complained to the police that the accused is indulging in stealing camera, video cameras, lenses and batteries.
SHO said a case under sections 305(theft in dwelling house) and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) of the BNS was registered against the accused and recovered stolen items from his possession.
The police also arrested motorcycle thief Sukhwindar Singh son of Jeet Singh a resident of Sunnar Kalan village with three stolen two wheelers and a gas cylinder
