The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) who had been absconding for the last 11 years.Station House Officer (SHO) Dilbag Singh said that the accused has been identified as Iqbal Singh alias Pal Singh, son of Santokh Singh, a resident of Khan Pur Dhadda village.
SHO said the accused is wanted in two cases of dacoity and attempt to murder registered in October-November 2012 and was declared a PO in February-March 2014.SHO said the police also arrested another PO, Jaspreet Singh alias Chana, son of Harjit Singh, a resident of Gokul Nagar, Hoshiarpur, wanted in a case of dacoity and firing registered in 2017, and was declared a PO in 2018.
