The Nurmahal police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating Officer (IO) Rajindar Kumar said that 40 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as
Sandeep Kumar alias Jhandi, son of
Hans Raj, a resident of Cheema Bazar, Nurmahal, and Bhupindar Singh, alias Pinda son of Amarjit Singh, a resident of Shadi Pur village
IO stated that a case has been registered under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act against the accused and impounded a motorcycle on which they were travelling with the contraband.
