NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested two women drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant
tablets.
Investigating Officer (IO) Jagtar Singh said that 70 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession ofthe accused, identified as Kaushalya, wife of Shindar Pal, and Joti, wife of Manpreet, both residents of Pati Takhar Shankar village
IO stated that a case has been registered under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act against the accused.
Nakodar City police arrested a drug peddler, Ravi Kumar alias Katta, son of Piara Lal of Mohalla Guru Nanak Pura, with 38 intoxicant tablets, said SHO Gurpreet Singh.
Nurmahal police arrested a drug peddler, Rahul, son of Ram Lal of Mohalla Balmik Nurmahal, with 30 intoxicant tablets, said IO Rajindar Kumar.
