The Bilga police have booked a father-son duo on charges of outraging the modesty of a woman.
Investigating officer (IO)Charanjit Singh said that the accused has been identified as Manjit Singh, son of Gopal Singh, a resident of Sango Wal village, and his son Arashi
Amandeep Kaur, wife of Sukhraj Singh, a resident of the same village, complained to the police thatthaccused barged into her house on August 26, attacked his son with sharp-edged weapons, seriously injuring him, and assaulted her and tore her clothes.
IO said that a case under sections 74(assault or criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 115(2)(voluntarily causing hurt), 333(4) (lurking house trespass ), and 324(4) (mischief) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
