The Lohian Khas police have booked a youth for kidnapping a girl.
.Investigating Officer (IO) Balwindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as
Sahil alias Gaddu, son of Mohan Lal a resident of Padda colony, Lohian Khas.
The mother of the victim complained to the police that the accused had kidnapped her daughter from hecollege on August 10.
IO said that a case under sections 137(2) (kidnapping), and 87 (kidnapping to murder or for ransom) of the BNS has been registered against the accused, and further investigations are on.
