The Nakodar City police have arrested a drug peddler for selling intoxicant tablets.
Station House Officer (SHO)Aman Saini said that 120 intoxicant tablets(loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Vishal alias Romi, son of Mohan Lal, a resident of Mohalla Dheeran, Nakodar.
SHO stated that a case has been registered under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act against the accused.
The Shahkot police arrested two drug peddlers, Surjit Singh alias Goru of Bajwa Kalan village and Gurmit Singh alias Sain, son of Pritam Singh of Mohalla Dhorra Shahkot, with 52 intoxicant tablets (loose), said IO Buta Ram.
The Bilga police arrested drug peddler Rannjit Singh alias Ranna, son of Harbhajan Singh a resident of Pati Nelo Wal Bilga, with 40 intoxicant tablets, said IO Kulwindar Singh
