As a part of routine checks to ensure compliance with food safety standards, the Food Safety Team, Jalandhar, inspected the Notorious Club. The inspection was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Sukhwinder Singh, District Health Officer, along with Food Safety Officer Mukul Gill and Field Worker Anil Kumar. During the visit, the team examined various sections of the premises, including the kitchen. Two enforcement samples were collected — one of non-vegetarian chicken curry and another of vegetable gravy. Both samples have been dispatched to the food laboratory for detailed analysis. Officials stated that further action will be initiated based on the laboratory reports, under the provisions of the Food Safety Act and relevant laws. The inspection is part of the district administration’s ongoing efforts to ensure public health and hygiene in food establishments.
