The Shahkot police have arrested two travel agents, including a woman travel agent, on charges of cheating.
Shahkot Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Onkar Singh Brar said that the accused has been identified as Saloni Toor wife of Pritpal Toor, a resident of Employees Colony, Shahkot, and Mandeep Singh, son of
Paramjit Singh, a resident of Eese Wal village.
DSP said that cases under various sections IPC and the Travel Agents Act were registered against the accused in April 2021 and May 2024.
The Nakodar City police arrested a travel agent, Rimpal Kumar alias Rampal, son of Hans Ram a resident of Kanganna village, said DSP Sukhpal Singh, who was booked in May 2024.
