The Nakodar Sadar police have busted a gang of motorcycle thieves and arrested three of its members.
Investigating Officer (IO) Janak Raj said the accused has been identified as Mangat Ram alias Manga, son of Jasveer,Vishal, son of Sodhi, both residents of Kotla Janga village, and Baldev alias Balli, son of Hari Pal, a resident of Tahli village.
IO said the suspects were arrested during a raid in Bopaand Rai Kalan village and recovered a stolen motorcycle from their possession.
A case under sections 303(2) (theft) of the BNS hasbeen registered against the accused who are being produced in Nakodar court for seeking police remand for further investigations .
