NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar and City police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant
tablets.
Investigating Officers (IOs) Jagtar Singh and Balveer Singh said that 57(22+35) intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Sanni son of Jeeta, a resident of Shankar village, and Rishu son of Resham, a resident of Mohalla Kamal Pura, Nakodar.
IOs said that cases under sections 22/ 61 / 85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.
The Mehat Pur police also arrested a drug peddler, Amandeep Singh alias Raja, son of Amarjit Singh, a
resident of Bute Dian Chhana village, with 27 intoxicant tablets, said IO Jaspal Singh.
The Lohian Khas police also arrested two drug peddlers, Harpreet Singh alias Happy, son of Chana, a
resident of Toti village in Kapurthala, and Sarabjit Singh alias Sabha, son of Bagga Singh, a resident of
Lakhan Khole village in Kapurthala, with 41 toxicant tablets, said IO Balveer Chand
