NAKODAR

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked four villagers on the charge of assaulting a co-villager.  

Investigating officer (IO)Janak Raj said that the accused has been identified as Akash Deep Singh, a resident of Sahem village, and his three unidentified accomplices.

Jashan Deep Singh, a resident of the same village, complained to the police that the accused barged into his house on July 27, attacked him with sharp-edged weapons, seriously injured him, and threatened to kill him.IO stated that a case has been registered under sections 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), 331(6) (lurking house trespass), 351(2) (criminal intimidation), and 3(5) (committing a crime with common intention) of the BNS against the accused.
