NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating Officers (IOs) Jaspal Singh and Kashmir Singh said that 20 and 15 intoxicant tablets were
recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Manish Kumar, son of Kashmir Chand, a
resident of Nahal village under Nurmahal police station, and Chan Singh, son of Avtar Singh, a resident of Umre Wal village.
IOs said cases under sections 22/ 61 / 85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.
The Nurmahal police also booked a drug peddler, Gurnam Singh alias Gama, son of Meet Ram of
Nurmahal, on charge of selling heroin, who managed to flee at a Naka, said IO Rajindar Kumar
