The Nakodar City police have booked unidentified miscreants on charges of assaulting a Shimla.
Vicki Sidhu, a resident of Shimla (HP), complained to the police that he came here to pay his obeisance in a Dera on July 19 and was staying in a hotel.
He said in his complaint that when he went outside to pay obeisance late evening, five unidentified accused
attacked him with dangerous weapons and damaged his vehicle.
Investigating officer Subash Chandar said that a case under sections 115(2), 118(1), (voluntarily causing grievous hurt), 126(2) (wrongful restraint),324(4) (mischief), 191(3)(rioting armed with deadly weapons), and 190(unlawful assembly of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
