The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
Investigating Officer (IO)Jagtar Singh said that 6 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Gurnek Singh alias Neki, son of Mangal Singh, a resident of Hairan village.
IO said a case under sections 21-B/ 61 / 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Nakodar City police arrested a drug peddler, Harmesh Kumar alias Raghu, son of Vijay Kumar, a resident of Tehsil Bazar Nakodar, with 111intoxicant tablets, said IO Rajindar Kumar
The Mehat Pur police arrested a drug peddler, Bagicha Singh, son of Veer Singh of Ramu Wal colony, with 18 intoxicant tablets, said IO Jaspal Singh
The Nurmahal police arrested a drug peddler, Jiwan alias Polo, son of Gian Chand, a resident of Kandola Kalan village, with 24 intoxicant tablets, said IO Gurnam Singh
