NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested a villager on the charge of brewing and selling illegal liquor.
Investigating Officer Amrik Lal said that 30 bottles of illegally made liquor and 60 litters of Lahann (raw
liquor) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Vajit Singh, a resident of Beetlan
village.
A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
