Investigating Officer (IO) Avtar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Paramjit Singh, son of Basant Singh, a resident of Raulli village under Mehanna police station in Moga, and Inderjit Singh, son of Major Singha resident of Kokari Phula Singh village under Ajit al police station in Moga.Gurmail Singh arinder Kumar, a resident of Sabu Wal village visiting the main bazar on July 3 to purchase householdgoods,and when he came out of a shop when two motorcycle-borne accused came and snatched his purse containing Rs 1100. He raised an alarm, and the residents overpowered the accused.Investigating Officer said a case under section 304 (snatching) and 3(5)(committing crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused and impounded their motorcycle.
