(SUBHEAD) Jalandhar: Women football team of Lovely Professional University exhibited the best of the game, today, during Association of Indian Universities’ (AIU’s) North Zone Inter-University (women) Football Championship-2021 being held at LPU Sports Ground. LPU team defeated Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University Agra by 7 Goals. Displaying ‘football fury’-the theme of the championship, LPU Captain Bhagwati Chauhan scored 4 field goals individually; forward Sunita made 2 and Rajni one. With another walkover, LPU team has now made its way in top four league matches of the zone.
