The Nakodar Sadar police have booked three miscreants for snatching cash and a smartphone.
Investigating Officer (IO) Jagtar Singh said the accused have been identified as Kuldeep alias Seepa, son of Nirmal, Gurpreet alias Ka, son of Ranna, residents of Bajuha Kalan village, and Varindar alias Gora, son of Ranna, resident of Bajuha Khurd village.
Narindar Singh, a resident of Mohalla Jatt Pura Kapurthala, complained to the police that the accused waylaid him near Bajuha Kalan village on May afternoon and snatched Rs 1300 and a smartphone from him.
IO said that a case under section 309-(4) (robbery ) and 3(5) (committing the crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
