The Nurmahal police have arrested a woman drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
Station House Officer (SHO) Krishan Gopal said that 20 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Resham Kuar alias Manni, wife of Gurdeep alias Deepa, a resident of Colony, Nurmahal.
SHO said a case under sections 21-B/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Nakodar Sadar police arrested a woman drug peddler, Sunita, daughter of Surindar, a resident of Lohar village under the Jamsher Sadar police station, with 6 grams of heroin, said investigating officer Jagtar Singh
The Mehat Pur police booked a woman drug peddler, Ranni, wife of Jarnail Singh, a resident of Kasba Mohalla Mehat Pur and her son Raja for selling poppy husk and recovered from their possession 62 Kilograms of poppy husk. who managed to flee from the spot said IO Niranjan Singh.
