The Nakodar City police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
Investigating Officer (IO)Rajindar Singh said that 7 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Gurdeep Singh alias Sonu, son of Om Parkash, a resident of Mohalla Guru Nanak Pura, Nakodar.
IO said a case under sections 21-B/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Nurmahal police arrested two drug peddlers, Rajesh Nahar alias Golu, son of Balwant, and Mandeep Singh alias Giani, both residents of Pati Badal Ki, Bundala village, with 84 intoxicant tablets and Rs 8580 drug money, said Station House Officer Krishan Gopal
The Mehat Pur police arrested drug peddler Gurnam Singh, son of Shingara Singh, a resident of Ismail Pur village, with 20 intoxicant tablets, said IO Jaspal Singh.
