The Shahkot police have nominated three criminals on charges of running illegal de-addiction drug centers and cheating.
Shahkot Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Onkar Singh Brar said that the accused have been identified as Mandeep Singh, son of Darshan Singh a resident of Billi Waraich village, Harpreet Singh, son of Mohan Lal, and Balwindar Singh, son of Pritam Singh, a resident of Dhando Wal village. DSP said the accused and their accomplices ran illegal de-addiction centers at Dhando Wal village and Bajwa Kalan village.
DSP said a case 318(4) (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), 127(4) (wrongful confinement for ten or more days) 223(disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), and 61(2) (criminal conspiracy) of the BNS was registered against the accused adding that three accused have arrested and booked elevon others in this case.
