The Nakodar Sadar and City police have arrested three drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicating tablets.
Nakodar Deputy Superintendent of police (DSP) Sukhpal Singh said that 230 (165+65) intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Manjindar Singh alias Mani son of Ravindar Pal, a resident of Talwandi Salem village, Sandeep Singh alias Billa ails Deepa, son of Kashmir Singh residents of Talwandi Salem village and Sher Chand alias Shera son of Balkar Singh a resident of Mohalla Guru Nanak Pura Nakodar city
DSP said that cases under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.
The Lohian Khas police arrested a drug peddler Kuldeep Kumar alias Sarpanch alias Katta son of Jeet Ram of Kang Khurd village with158 intoxicant tablets said Investigating Officer Balveer Chand.
