The Shahkot police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling heroin.
Shahkot Deputy Superintendent of police Onkar Singh Brar, and Investigating Officer (IO), and Talwandi Sanghera police post in-charge Nirmal Singh said that 52 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Mangat Singh, son of Mohann Singh, a resident of Chak Bahmannia village, and Manjit Singh, son of Avtar Singh, a resident of Bhoye Pur village.
IO said that a case under sections 21/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded a motorcycle with registration number on which they were travelling with the contraband.
