The Nurmahal police have busted a gang of thieves and arrested its three members.
Investigating officer (IO ) Jaswindar Pal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Jogindar Ram alias Babla, son of Kuldeep Dass, Balram Mahe, son of Harbhajan Lal, and Kuldeep Ram, son of Buta Ram, all residents of Bhandal Buta village.
Kashmir Dass, a resident of the same village, complained to the police that the accused barged into Dera Baba Jiwan Dass on March 22 and stole an AC and an inverter, and a battery.
IO said a case under sections 331(house trespass), 305(theft in dwelling house), and 3(5)(committing crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
