The Bilga police have arrested three people for assaulting a villager.
Investigating Officer (IO)Charanjit Singh said the accused have been identified as Amanjot Singh, Babu Singh and Rajwant Singh, residents of Mangatt village in Ludhiana.
Hardeep Singh, a resident of Sango Wal village
complained to the police that the accused and their eight accomplices waylaid him on April 27 at the bus stand in Thamann Wal village and assaulted him.
IO said a case under 115(2), (voluntarily causing hurt) 332(house trespass) 324(4) (mischief)191(3) (rioting )
and 190(unlawful assembly) of the BNS has been registered against the accused and their eight accomplices.
