NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a villager for assaulting a co-villager.
Investigating Officer (IO)Balkar Singh said the accused has been identified as Bhupinder Singh resident of Littaran village.
Kamaljit Singh a resident of the same village
complained to the police that he was returning home on April14 when the accused attacked him with sharp edged weapons and seriously injured him in front of his house.
IO said a case under 115(2),118(2) (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
