JALANDHAR

As part of the campaign being run by Punjab Police for the safety of the public and recovery of property Jalandhar Rural Police has achieved great success by recovering 110 mobile phones worth about Rs. 20,50,000/- and handing them over to the public. All these mobile phones were lost from Jalandhar and nearby areas.

 Senior Superintendent of Police Harvinder Singh Virk informed media that by forming a special team under the leadership of Superintendent of Police (Investigation) Mr. Sarabjit Rai D. S. P. Rashpal Singh and Inspector Arshpreet Kaur in charge Police Station Cyber Crime worked continuously to hand over the mobile phones to the public. It will increase the trust and confidence of the people in the police.

SSP said that Punjab Police is committed to the protection of the property of the citizens and their welfare. He said that mobile phones have become an important part of today's life. The phone contains a lot of information apart from our personal photos. People should cooperate with the police by reporting any theft or lost item immediately.
