The Shahkot police have booked a car driver on charges of rash driving and mischief.
Investigating officer (IO) Sarwann Singh said that the accused has been identified as Karan Singh son of Santokh Singh a resident of Mohalla Dherian Shahkot .
Sawindar Singh a resident of Fajjal Wal village complained to the police that the accused was driving his car (PB-08-EC -9071) very fast and negligently on April 11 and hit his car (PB-08-BU 1063) and seriously injured him and damaged vehicle.
Investigating officer said that a case under sections 281(rash driving on the public highway),125(a) 125(b) (causing grievous hurt by endangering life or personal safety of others) and 324(4) (mischief) of the BNS has been registered against the car driver.
