The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested two youth on charge of kidnapping a minor.
Investigating officer (IO)Kulwindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Balraj Singh son of Jaswindar Singh a resident ofNur Pur Chatha village and Jatindar Singh son of Sukhdev Singh a resident of Mohala Sarafan, Rahon in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district.
The father of the victim complained to the police that accused conspired with his accomplice and kidnapped her minor daughter on the pretext of marriage
IO said that a case under sections 137(2) (kidnapping) ,87(kidnapping or abducting in order to murder or for ransom) and 61(2) (criminal conspiracy) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
The Nakodar City police also booked Vishal son of Vipin kumar resident of Danna Mandi Sarihn village for kidnapping a Nakodar girl said IO Davindar Singh.
