The Nurmahal police have arrested a proclaimed offender wanted a murder case absconding for the last two years booked seven persons including a woman on the charge of murdering a Pasla village resident.
The Station House Officer (SHO) Krishan Gopal said that the accused has been identified as Gurdeep Singh alias Deepa son of Piara Ram a resident of Kandola Khurd village,
SHO said that the accused and his accomplices had murdered Chamkaur Lal a resident of the Palsa village in February 2023
SHO said a case under sections 302(murder), 307(attempt to murder) and 323,324(voluntarily causing hurt with weapons), 341(wrongful restraint), and 148 and 149(rioting) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused.
