The Shahkot and Lohian Khas police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Shahkot Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Onkar Singh Brar said that 163 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Sandeep Singh alias Anda son of Bagga a resident of Ward no 8, Lohian Khas and 50 intoxicant tablets(loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Sahil alias Sukha’s son of Wiliam a resident Said Pur Jhirri village.
DSP said that cases under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused at Lohian Khas and Shahkot police stations.
The Nurmahal police arrested drug peddler Akashdeep alias Tula son of Jogindar Pal a resident of Bijli daftar colony, Nurmahal with 60 intoxicant tablets (loose) said investigating Officer Bodh Raj.
