The Bilga police have arrested two drug peddlers including a woman on the charge of selling heroin.
Station House Officer (SHO)Palwindar Singh said that 112 grams of heroin and Rs 9300 drug money were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Kulwindar Kaur wife of Major Singh and Lakhveer Singh son of Mohan Singh alias Gora son of Mohann Singh both residents Kandola Khurd village.
SHO said that a case under sections 21-B/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Mehat Pur police arrested drug peddlers Amandeep Singh Amana son of Harnek Singh a resident of Shamsha Bab village and Karan Ram alias Mattu son of Ram Chandar a resident of Kot Badal Khan village under Nurmahal police station with 219 intoxicant tablets (loose)and impounded a stolen motor cycle said IO Nishan Singh adding both are notorious peddlers and cases are pending against them .
