The Nurmahal police has arrested a miscreant on the charges of attempt to murder, criminal conspiracy and sexual harassment
Investigating Officer (IO) Bodh Raj said the accused have been identified as Ravi Pal alias Budha son of Rannjit Singh a resident of Gumtali village.
IO said a case under sections109(attempt to murder) 309(4) (robbery) 75(sexual harassment) 351(2) (criminal intimidation) 115(2)118(1) (causing grievous hurt) 191(2) (rioting) 190(unlawful assembly and 324(4) (mischief) of the BNS was registered against the accused.
