The Mehat Pur police have arrested main accused on the charge of murdering a 19 years old youth.
Station House Officer (SHO) Lakhbir Singh said that the accused has been identified as Yuv Raj Singh Yuvi son of Dilbag Singh a resident of Sango Wal village.
Charanjeet Singh a resident of Hari Pur village had informed the police thar the accused and his accomplice murdered his son Rajveer Devit.
Indarjit Kaur wife of Charanjit Singh a resident of Hari Pur village had complained to the police that her son Rajveer Devit (19) was working as a delivery boy with a Mehat Pur restaurant but did not return home on Monday as his per his promise to come late.
The complainant had said when she went to Mehat Pur Road in search of her son and found the body of Devit in a field of Dulla a resident of Mehat Pur who was murdered with sharp edged weapons.
SHO said a case under sections 103 (murder) and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) of the BNS was registered against the accused and his juvenile accomplice who was earlier arrested.
