The Mehat Pur police have nominated two criminals on the charge of murdering a 19 years old youth.
Station House Officer (SHO) Lakhbir Singh said that the accused have been identified as Yuv Raj Singh Yuvi son of Dilbag Singh a resident of Sango Wal village and Jaspreet Singh alias Jassa son of Shamsher Singha resident of Lohgarh village who is a juvenile and has been arrested.
Charanjeet Singh a resident of Hari Pur village informed the police thar the accused and their other accomplices murdered his son Devit.
Indarjit Kaur wife of Charanjit Singh a resident of Hari Pur village complained to the police that her son Devit (19) was working as a delivery boy with a Mehat Pur restaurant but did not return home on Monday as his per his promise to come late.
The Complainant said when she was going to Mehat Pur Road in search of her son she found the body of Devit in a field of Dulla a resident of Mehat Pur who was murdered with sharp edged weapons.
SHO said the police recovered a sharp-edged weapon and a motor cycle without number from the spot and registered a case under sections 103 (murder) and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) against unidentified accused.
