The Shahkot police have claimed to busted a gang of thieves with the arrest of its three members.
Investigating officer (IO) Jagdev Singh said that the accused have been identified as Gurpreet son of Mohindar Pal a resident of Kotli Gajran village, his brother Lovpreet and Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi son of Balwindar Singh a resident of the same village.
Sarabjit Kaur wife of Baljindar Ram a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused stole 2 gas cylinders, one inverter with battery and one AC from house between February 25 and March 7
IO said a case under section 303(2)( theft in dwelling house) of the BNS has been registered against the accused
