Two women among six villagers booked for criminal trespass

 

NURMAHAL

 The Nurmahal police have booked six   villagers including two women on charges of criminal trespass, criminal intimidation and theft.

Investigating officer (IO) Sukhdev Singh said that the accused have been identified as Kamaljit Kaur wife of Karamjit Singh a resident of Kot Badal Khan village his son Jaspindar Singh, daughter Manjindar Kaur and Buta Singh a resident of the same village his son Teji and Yadwindar Singh of the same village.

Karnal Sardul Singh a resident of Friends colony opposite DAV college Jalandhar complained to the police that the accused ploughed his land in village with intention to encroach it and stole fertilizer bags, iron girders and a submersible motor from his shed and threatened him with dire consequences.

IO said that a case under sections 329(3) (criminal trespass) 324(4) (mischief)351(2) (criminal intimidation) 305 (theft) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
