The Bilga police have arrested a father son duo drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Station House Officer (SHO) Parwinder Singh said that 250 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Sukhdev Singh alias Vindu son of Nanak Singh a resident of Burj Hassan village and his son Sarabjit Singh alias Saabi .
SHO said that cases under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused who have many cases pending against them and impounded a motor cycle.
SHO said the police also arrested a drug addict on the charge of consuming heroin.
The accused has been identified as Jaspreet Singh alias Jassa son of Harjap Singh alas Japi a resident of Pati Bhatti ,Bilga village.
SHO said a lighter, silver paper, and plastic pipe used for consuming contraband were recovered from his possession. A case under section 27/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
