NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested two youth on charge of kidnapping a minor.
Investigating officer (IO) Inspector Seema said that the accused have been identified as Deepak alias Deepa son of Mangat Ram and Armaan Sabharwal son of Bindar resident of Bagga village under Shahkot police station.
The mother of the victim complained to the police that accused Deepa conspired with his accomplice and kidnapped her minor daughter studying in a Nakodar college on the pretext of marriage
IO said that a case under sections 137(2) (kidnapping) ,87(kidnapping or abducting in order to murder or for ransom) and 61(2) (criminal conspiracy) of the BNS has was been registered against the accused.
