The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets . Investigating officer (IO)Nirmal Singh said that 45 intoxicant tablets(loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Mukhtiar Singh alias Babi son of Gurnam Singh a resident of Said Pur Jhirri village.
IO said that a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
