SHAHKOT
The Shahkot police have booked a woman on the charge of selling illicit liquor.
Investigating Officer Puran Singh said that 10 bottles of hooch were recovered from the house n of the accused, identified as Jaswinder Kaur alias Pinki wife of Manjit Singh a resident of Meanye Wal Moulvian village.
A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
