Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal today released the pictorial art calendar 2025 and documentary "Heritage Monuments of Punjab - Landmarks of Historic Legacy" at the District Administration Complex, Jalandhar.
While unveiling the calendar 2025, showcasing the centuries-old heritage monuments of Punjab, Dr. Aggarwal, acknowledged the commendable efforts of author Harpreet Sandhu, for his meticulous research and artistic dedication towards compiling this valuable pictorial project dedicated to the culture and heritage of Punjab State.
The DC lauded Harpreet Sandhu for prominently highlighting the four prominent heritage locations of District Jalandhar in the pictorial calendar that is Dakhni Sarai (Nakodar), Maharaja Ranjit Singh Fort (Phillaur), Nurmahal Sarai (Nurmahal), and the Tomb of Muhammad Momin and Haji Jamal (Nakodar) which will greatly enhance public awareness towards bringing to light the architectural and cultural treasures of District Jalandhar.
Terming this pictorial calendar 2025 being a unique initiative, he mentioned that this calendar showcased the unparalleled grandeur and historical significance of Punjab's centuries-old iconic heritage monuments.
The event was attended by the officials of the District Administration, Intellectuals, Writers, Prominent Doctors, and citizens from different sections of society in Jalandhar.
