The Nakodar Sadar police have booked twenty-nine persons on the charges of assault, criminal intimidation. house trespass, theft.
Investigating officer (IO) Jaspal Singh said the accused have been identified as Tarlochan Singh alias Tochi a resident of Rasul Pur village, Jawahar Singh, Gurdeep Singh alias Depa Faralia, Krishan Lal Bathal, Pardeep Singh, Parmindar Singh, Surinder Bathala and Gurpreet all residents of Uggi village and their twenty unidentified accomplices.
Kuldeep Sabharwal a resident of Rahim Pur village complained to the police that the accused ransacked his welding shop with a crane on January 12 assaulted him used abusive language against him stole Rs 70000, CCTV cameras and DVR from his shop.
IO said a case under 351(1) (criminal intimidation) 303(2) (theft) 324(4) (mischief), 329(4) (house trespass) and 190 (unlawful assembly ) of the BNS has been residence against the accused.
