The Mehat Pur police have arrested three drug peddlers on the charge of selling heroin. Investigating officer (IO) Gurnam Singh said that 100 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Joga son of Chanann Singh, Ajay Singh son of Resham Singh and Sarabjit Singh son of Sukhdev Singh all residents of Lattian Wal village in Kapurthala.
IO said a case under section 21-B/61/85 of the NDPS Act had been registered against the accused and impounded a vehicle they were traveling with the contraband.
