Jalandhar village woman booked for conspiring to attack Nakodar youth

 

NAKODAR

The Nakodar City police have booked a Jalandhar village woman on the charge of conspiring to attack a youth.

Investigating Officer (IO) Dilbag Singh said that the accused has been identified as Sharanjit Kaur daughter of Baldev Singh a resident of Sarmast Pur village under Maqsudan police station.

Jaskaran Singh (22) a resident of Ladhe Wali village complained to the police that he was returning home in his vehicle on December 1 night when two unidentified miscreants waylaid and attacked him near Kapurthala by-pass and ransacked his vehicle.

He said Jaskaran Kaur conspired in this attack adding that he had received an international phone call threatening to him to keep himself away from their issue otherwise he would be physically attacked.

 

IO said a case under sections 126(2) (wrongful restraint )351(2)(criminal intimidation ),324(4) (mischief), and 61(2) (criminal conspiracy) of the B.N.S. has been registered against the accused.
