A villager village died after consuming the expired medicine.
Investigating Officer Balkar Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Gourav, a resident of Barra Salam village.
Som Nath, father of the deceased told the police that his son consumed expired medicine by mistake and died.
IO said the police acting under section 194 of the BNSS handed over the body to the family after the mortem.
