The Nurmahal police have booked one farmer on the charge of violating an order duly promulgated by a public servant by burning paddy stubble fields.
Station House Officer (SHO) Dilbag Singh said that the suspect has been identified as Makhan Singh a resident of Bundala village.
Block Development and Panchayat Officer cum nodal officer Gurmit Singh Kahlon in an official communication said the suspect burned paddy stubble fields in Passli village and area patwari conformed suspect.
SHO said a case under section 233(disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the BNS has been registered against the suspect.
