NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested five persons on the charge of assaulting a co-villager.
Investigating officer (IO) Janak Raj said the arrested accused had been identified as Jaspreet, Ajay Kumar,Ajay Kumar Jajon, Deepa and Neettu all residents of Littran village
Aashu a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused waylaid and attacked and seriously injured him and his friend on November 12 evening and threatened him.
IO said a case under sections 115(2) (voluntarily causing )351(2) (criminal intimidation 126(2) wrongful restraint,)324(4) (mischief) and 190(committing a crime with common intention ) of the BNS has been registered against the accused
