NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have booked a villager for violating an order duly promulgated by a public servant by burning paddy stubble fields.
Investigating Officer (IO) Lov Leen Kumar said the suspect had been identified as Kamal Nain Singh a resident of Tahli village.
Nakodar Subdivision Magistrate Lal Vishwash Bains directed the police that the suspect burned paddy fields in his field in the village and should be booked for violating the ban order.
IO said a case under section 223 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the BNS has been registered against the suspect.
